Howies launches special edition T-shirt to commemorate Steve Worland

Howies has teamed up with the Steve Worland Memorial Fund to help raise money towards a memorial bench and defibrillator at Ashton Court in Bristol, through sales of its specially-designed Remember Steve T-shirt.

Worland, a dedicated cycling journalist and pioneer of the UK mountain biking scene, passed away earlier this year aged 58, following a heart attack suffered during a run in his beloved Ashton Court.

The former What Mountain Bike editor was honoured with a tribute ride at the annual Bristol BikeFest last month. SAKA, Japan (BRAIN) — Mountain Bike Hall of Famer Junzo Kawai has died at age 94. Kawai, former president of Suntour, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.

One of the largest blazes in Ventura County forced evacuations of neighborhoods in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks, but so far bike businesses in the area remain unscathed.  Giant Bicycles is headquartered in Newbury Park, a community not far from the 18,000-acre blaze that began in neighboring Camarillo along U.S.
