Bikeshare groups plan September conference in Portland

WESTBROOK, Maine (BRAIN) — The North America Bikeshare Association and the Better Bike Share Partnership are working together to produce a bikeshare conference, to be held Sept. 4-7 in Portland, Oregon.  Organizers expect 350 bikeshare professionals and others interested in shared mobility to attend the Moving Forward Together – 2018 Conference.

BPSA pushes forward with business sustainability program

BOULDER, CO—The Bicycle Product Supplier Association (BPSA) and the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) are working together to look at identifying and implementing best practices in environmental and social responsibility in bicycle manufacturing. OIA has developed guidelines in partnership with the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, called the Higg Index, for apparel, and it is now looking to expand beyond apparel and footwear into the hardware side of the business. And it has asked the BPSA to participate with it as it develops these guidelines
