WTB hires Johs Huseby as global OEM sales manager

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — WTB has hired Johs Huseby as global OEM sales manager and for product development. Huseby’s first day at WTB is June 19.

Felt Bicycles hires Juan Diaz as key territories sales rep

IRVINE, Calif. (BRAIN) – Felt Bicycles has announced that it has hired Juan Diaz as sales representative for select counties in Southern California, from Orange in the south to San Luis Obispo in the north, along with the states of Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii.

First Flight Bicycles to close, 10 months after owner’s death

STATESVILLE, N.C. (BRAIN) — First Flight Bicycles has begun to sell off its remaining inventory ahead of a closure later this month. The store was founded by Jeff Archer,  who died after being hit by a car last July  while he was walking across a street in Mooresville.  Archer’s wife, Julie, announced the closure on the store’s Facebook page this week. The store has been operated by manager Wes Davidson since Archer’s death.

Gabe Schroder joins Dakine as mountain bike marketing manager

HOOD RIVER, Ore. (BRAIN) — Dakine has appointed Gabe Schroder to the role of mountain bike marketing manager.  Schroder managed the ski and bike marketing programs at Smith for ten years. “Gabe brings a tremendous wealth of experience and energy to our team, and we’re excited for him to join our efforts in growing Dakine’s presence in the MTB community,” said Shawn La Rowe, Dakine’s vice president of product and marketing.  Schroder will report directly to La Rowe remotely from Ketchum, Idaho.
